Our wedding ceremony and reception will both be held at the Ayres Hotel in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa.
We strongly recommend staying at the Ayres Hotel for the convenience of not having to Uber or drive to the wedding. The hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle to and from John Wayne Airport (for out of town guests or people who like airports) and is 10 minutes from the coast. John Wayne Airport (SNA) is the most convenient airport for proximity to our wedding venue with non-stop service to ORD, SFO, DEN, EWR, and IAH on United Airlines and other cities on other airlines. The hotel operates a free shuttle to/from SNA. Alternatively, you can fly to nearby airports and rent a car or Uber to the hotel: LAX (40 miles, $50 Uber), LGB (20 miles, $30 Uber), or SAN (100 miles, $120 Uber).

Aside from Balboa Island, Newport Beach/Orange County is not very pedestrian-friendly. Either expect to rideshare around or rent a car. The hotel does offer a free shuttle anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel.
